Many years ago my family took a vacation to the northeast and visited Amish country.  My mother bought one of the expected Amish quilts in a sunburst pattern, which is still to this day one of her prizes from that summer.  I on the other hand brought back a few Amish recipes.  I loved the simple homeyness of the food.  It is true comfort food.  Over the years I have collected other Amish recipes to add to those that I first started with on that hot long ago summer.  We have selected 65 of our favorites from these recipes to create the Amish Recipe Collection.  Here are a few that are included:
